"Lintukoto" (Finnish for "Bird Home") is a place at the edge of the world where, according to Finnish folk tales, migratory birds fly on their migrating paths. It was seen as a small, snug place, and although the story of Lintukoto has been lost to many modern-day Finns, its name is still being used to describe a cozy, safe place.
