These prints are made using a hand-carved linoleum printing block.
The image is transferred from printing block to paper by firmly rubbing the back of the paper against the inked printing block with a handheld burnishing tool.

50 g black Lokta paper with four torn edges.
Lokta paper is eco-friendly, and ethically produced in Nepal. It is handmade from high-elevation Daphne shrubs. The plant fibers are harvested (wildcrafted) in a non-destructive manner that allows the plant to regenerate.
Despite its light weight, Lokta paper is resistant to tears, humidity, insects and mildew.
The paper has velvety finish that compliments the shiny gold ink, used for the print.

All prints are shipped in a flat packaging (not rolled up), wrapped inside acid-free paper, sandwiched between two layers of heavy-duty greyboard, and shipped inside a cardboard box.
