A lone wolf runs across a starry black night sky, howling at the cosmos in a celestial scene. The print is inspired by the Latin phrase per ardua ad astra (“through adversity to the stars”) and bears resemblance to the Canis Major constellation. This monochromatic print is crafted on off-white, sustainably sourced handmade paper.

Solvent-free printmaking inks made from linseed oil and lightfast pigments.

Printing Method

Printed by hand using hand-carved blocks and a traditional press. Slight variations in ink, details, and paper may occur.

Edition

Limited edition of 35, released in small batches. Each print is signed and numbered on the front.

Frame

Frame not included. For framing in Europe, I recommend BGA.

Packaging

Your print will be shipped in secure, flat packaging that is plastic-free and made from eco-friendly materials. The packaging can be reused and recycled.

Print Care

To ensure that your print stays in the best condition, I recommend framing it. Keep the print at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and high humidity. Avoid acidic framing materials and direct contact with the glass as these can affect the print over time and cause yellowing.
